Clothing now available: Shine Wear t-shirts are now available to order from £14.99, or from £16.99 with a name or short custom wording added where suitable. Current t-shirt colours are White, Black, Purple and Light Pink. Hoodies and sweatshirts are planned for later as the clothing range grows.
Who makes Shine cards? Shine Without Limits was created by Gareth and Vicky after seeing how useful visual supports can be and how easily laminated cards can get damaged through everyday handling. Vicky works alongside non-verbal children in the care community and helped shape the original idea and many product features. We are not a therapy provider or official PECS programme, but we do care about making clear, tactile cards that work well in real routines. Read more about Shine.

We can provide written quotes for schools, nurseries and SEN settings. Purchase order requests are welcome and can be discussed before ordering, with product details, quantity, postage, timescale and payment information confirmed in writing.

Why 3D printed instead of laminated?
3D printed cards have a solid, tactile feel and are designed to be more durable than paper-based alternatives. They are practical for repeated handling, routines and everyday use.
Are they waterproof?
They are water-resistant and easy to wipe clean for normal daily use. They are not intended to be soaked, put in a dishwasher, chewed, bitten or used unsupervised.
Are they safe for children?
They are made from PLA+ filament and finished with rounded edges for a smoother feel. They are visual communication support items for supervised use, not toys, teethers or chew products. Please stop use if a card becomes damaged.
How long do they actually last?
They are designed for long-term daily use and should hold up better than paper or laminated cards when handled regularly. Lifespan depends on use, care and whether the cards are chewed, bent or used roughly.
Can I build my own bundle?
Yes. Choose from over 300 different cards covering emotions, routines, food, places, activities and communication. Pick a size and send your selection.
Can I request custom cards?
Yes. Custom cards can be made for routines, places, emotions, food choices, school needs and family life. If your request is suitable for the card style, we will confirm what can be made before payment.
How much are visual communication cards?
Standard ready-made visual cards are £2.00 each. Bundles start from £8.99, with 10 cards for £16.99, 15 cards for £23.99 and 20 cards for £29.99. Standard UK postage is currently £3.99 per order unless a different option is needed.
